Fleurvale Lodge

Fleurvale Lodge is just three hours south of Perth and situated on one hundred acres of farmland bordered by State Forest in the Blackwood Valley. Fleurvale runs Angus breeding cows and also grow hydroponic tomatoes and cucumbers. Wake to the smell of fresh country air and the sounds of our abundant bird life with over fifty species identified. The Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo is a frequent visitor. Sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings or watch the night sky, shooting stars, satellites and the Milky Way (the night certainly has a thousand eyes in Balingup). Three large beautifully appointed bedrooms, two with ensuites, one shared bathroom with all facilities (electric blankets, heaters, fans, tea/coffee) open onto our large verandahs. The separate guest lounge/dining room has a log fire for the cooler months and television. Cooked breakfasts are included in our tariff and evening meals are available on request. We are adjacent to the Bibbulmun Track; we cater for serious walkers with packed lunches and a pick up or drop off service available. Comfortable walks are available both North and South of Balingup. For more leisurely walks enjoy our farm or the Golden Valley Tree Park, which houses over three hundred species of trees from around the world and the Australian collection with a large variety of Eucalypts and natives. We are within half an hour of three golf courses and the Balingup Bowling and Tennis Clubs where visitors are always welcome are just five kilometres away. Numerous wineries and craft shops, Lavender Farm and the beaches of Bunbury, Busselton, Dunsborough and Margaret River are a comfortable drive away. Cool green undulating landscapes and the early morning winter mists make this area special. An ideal place to get away, unwind and enjoy nature's beauty. To stay in a family home and share in country life is a memorable experience in this scenic part of the world.
