Wood fires offer great warmth and comfort during the cooler seasons and of course Albany is a great escape from the summer heat. Sleeping up to 14, it has been renovated extensively and offers the most magnificent water and rural views. Country cottages unique positioning in the "Two Rivers" area allows guests the opportunity to relax while sitting on the cottage verandah, sipping a glass of wine and watching local bird life and kangaroos grazing or they may like to spend some time visiting the numerous tourist attractions in close vicinity to the cottages. Several established wineries offer a superb selection of local vintage. Albany Marron Farm, Gorepani Food, art, Bark and Willowie Wildlife Park and horse riding are all a must to visit when returning from Albany's pristine beaches where fishing, swimming, diving and snorkelling can all be enjoyed. There is so much exploring to be done! Country Cottages owners Jack and Jane Keays offer their guests the opportunity to bring the whole family and the family pet. Being animal lovers themselves all pets of guests are made very welcome. This is supported by their recent achievement in being voted by their many guests as the best dog friendly accommodation in Western Australia winning the "Holidaying With Dogs, Life Be In It," Dog Friendly Award. With ample space (over 14 hectares in fact) the children and the dog can enjoy a game of ball or a ride on their bikes while mother and father cook a barbeque.
