Being about five kilometres from the superb Yallingup and Smiths beaches, Cairnhill is the closest five star guesthouse to the Capes' shores. Over 75 percent of the wineries are within a 25 minute drive; as are golf courses, horse riding, Margaret River town, Busselton's Jetty and Underwater Observatory, the HMAS Swan dive wreck, walk trails and other pursuits. The renowned Lamont's restaurant is adjacent to Cairnhill, on the edge of Gunyulgup Lake and beside Gunyulgup Gallery. Each of the suites has a private patio off the spacious bedroom, that contains a king-sized double bed, an en-suite with spa in the corner window and all other expected amenities. The guest lounge, with adjoining guest dining room, has french doors onto a patio that offers spectacular views of the lake and countryside. Abundant wildlife surrounds Cairnhill, including many bird varieties and kangaroos that may be seen on and around the property.
